Empty Space / Пустое место

This week's Diva's weekly challenge is Leave Space. I've started on my second art box. The "tile" with the space is the one on the right (duh), plus there's all this space around the tangles (ha, ha, ha).

На этой неделе задание Diva - пустое место. Я начала свой второй ящик. "Плитка" справа с пустым местом. А ещё полно пустого места вокруг (ха, ха).

Oh yeah, and the first box is finished!
А да, и первый ящик закончен!

    1. Thank you heaps! To be honest, I can't wait to get back to papery/cardstocky surfaces, but not until I finish this one.

  5. Зоя, не надо было на втоом ящике вообще ничего рисовать))) Это был бы самый крутой ответ по заданию))) Малевич 21-го века)))

А так, как всегда, - просто круто! У меня даже наглости не хватит попробовать рисовать такие вещи.

  7. Absolutely gorgeous - you could go into business with these...even though they take a while to complete, they're real collector's items. Lovely start to the new one too. Axxx

    1. Awwwww, thank you Annie! I wish, but not good enough to give up the day job. The tiles just kind of started to happen on the second one, so I might keep going that way.

  8. Beautiful, your box is a real treasure box. Do you put a finsihing coat on the box after it is complete? I like it very much and it is a great idea to do all the challenges on one project. What pen do you use, for the pattern and for the shading?

    1. Thank you so much for your feedback. I decided to not put any finishing coats on the boxes at all. I'd love to watch the natural wear'n'tear. I use mainly Sakura pigma microns with a bit of gelly rolls and soufflés. Had a go with Staedtlers and Airline, and prefer Sakura on the wood. For the shading, an old pencil that came with my very first zentangle set.
