Every Inchie Monday has Maroon this week. I am not into stamps at all. But, by coincidence, I got hold of this M stamp. I do, however, have quite a few stamp pads in various colours that I use for quilling. So I thought, why not marry the two for this inchie.
Can I just say right here - we are all passing the equator, the half way mark of the year. I won't even bother mentioning how quickly this goes. To us in Australia, it's Happy New Financial Year! Probably not for me, I won't be winning any tax write-offs. Still, Happy New Financial Year to everyone - may this be an auspicious one!
On the Twinchies Challenge Blog, the second half of the year begins with Waves. Let's say hello to the 21st century with WiFi.

Love both of these, great thinking out of the box, and I am just shocked how fast this year has gone by. I mean really?!? LOL great job here
ReplyDeleteThank you! I tell you what, I am so beyond being shocked about time.
DeleteLove that M stamp - wouldn't mind the whole alpha bet in that design. Great inchie and twinchie.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisette. So do I - my mum picked it up at a garage sale about 5 million years ago and I got hold of it by sheer coincidence a few months back. I wouldn't mind being presented the whole alphabet either.
DeleteGreat thinking on waves! Maroon was a toughie....

Thanks! Yes, I find colours tough because I hate being literal, and generally not into colour.
DeleteMaroon was not an easy one to do. I love color, but not that one :) Good thinking on both your pieces!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jean! I secretly like maroon :)
DeleteVery good inchie and twinchie. What would we do without WiFi?
ReplyDeleteThanks Trillian! Yes, indeed, hale the WiFi!
DeleteGood idea to use the M stamp for your inchie and also the logo for your Twinchie
ReplyDeleteLove Chrissie x
Thanks Chrissie!
DeleteZoe, you always seem to give me a chuckle!! Thanks! Love your Inchie, and that is definitely maroon!! (I never thought of coloring my own quilling strips, Great idea!) And Happy New Financial Year to ya'!! I like the twinchie too!! :0) Share Humanity
ReplyDeleteThanks Annette! I use ink pads for colouring the edge - dip a coil in or smudge a pad on a finished piece.
DeleteThanks Cathy!
