Xenon and Advent

And so begins the final month with Xenon in Every Inchie Monday. All I could come up with is a light globe, and a humble one at that. There is Xenon in the globe.

You know, December has become such a PC month. I don't celebrate Christmas, I celebrate Hanukkah. I embrace others celebrating Christmas, anything other than Christmas or not celebrating at all. And maybe I have offended someone by neglecting to mention something else that may be celebrated this month.....  blah, blah, blah.....   whatever.

I am convinced, though, that no one is offended by good wishes. So whatever you're starting to celebrate or not celebrate this month, be healthy and rich and laugh, and not just this month, but always. Do you know why I will be celebrating Hanukkah - because I like lights in the evening and I like sweets.....    oh, but that's beginning to sound a lot like Christmas. That's what they do in the city centre here - combine the two for the whole of December. See, marketing people are not PC, they are just happy to sell anything to anyone. So they thought - lights, food.....mmmmm, why not marry the two together and sell to all of them.

Anyway.......    here's the marketing department's Advent:

  1. great job on the inchie, I love the advent piece. Great job. I believe that everyone should be happy and blessed. No matter what you celebrate. Be blessed by your religion of choice and be blessed by the love of family and friends. Thanks for sharing this.

  5. love your light bulb with the white xenon light. your advent quilling is great (are the round candle holders also paper?) - I agree let's just celebrate everything all at once (but with a little less selling perhaps!)
