Inchie Alice Blue

Every Inchie Monday is starting for 2014. This year I will complete all 52 inchies and show off my collection at the end of the year. This year's keywords are in alphabetical order - 2 for each letter.
And so,  the first keywords for the year are Alice blue. I had no idea what it means and a bit of research revealed that it's a shade of light blue. It's called that just because Alice Roosevelt (Theodore Roosevelt's daughter) liked dressing in this colour (here is a picture of one of those dresses). Whatever. I have a candle with Alice blue flame.

    1. Thank you muchly! I too had no idea with this alice blue. That's why I love Every Inchie Monday - it combines language and miniatures. It's lil doing a crossword or playing trivial pursuit, only better. Now I know what alice blue is and i can show off as if I'm an expert :)
