Zentangle & a Twinchie / Зентенл и твинчик

The Diva weekly challenges are back and the first challenge for the year is 2014 or new year's theme. I have simply 14. While shopping for yet more art supplies, I picked up (extremely cheaply) scratch art squares. They are a perfect 3.5" x 3.5" Zentagle tile size. How could I resist.

The Diva еженедельные задания вернулись и первая тема новогодняя или 2014. У меня просто 14. Пока я закупалась материалами для рисования в очередной раз, я купила (очень, очень дёшево) квадратики для выцарапывания. Они идеальные 8.9 х 8.9 см зентенгловые плитки. Как я смогла устоять.



No, I have not forgotten the art boxes. At the moment, it's a little @ a time.
Нет, я не забыла ящики. Сейчас немножко медленно идёт.



Also, something gorgeous is happening on the the Twinchies Challenge blog. They've started with weekly challenges that come out every Tuesday and a list of keywords is provided for the whole year. The first for the year is Metallic. It's embossed on a 2" square foil twinchie. I want to collect all 52 twinchies.

И ещё что-то симпатичное происходит на блоге Twinchies Challenge. Они начали еженедельные задания, которые выходят каждый вторник. Список ключевых слов имеется на весь год. Первое слово - Металлический. У меня тиснение на фольге 2 х 2 инча. Я хочу собрать все 52 твинча.

    Zoe, I love your Zentangle!! The colors truly express the excitement of the New Year!! And I just had to laugh when I saw your Twinchie! Not that it looks funny, cause it looks great!!! Only because that's the same idea I had in mind!!! I have another one too though, so I may use that idea instead!! I tell you,.....great minds think alike! :0) Love your box too!! :0) Share Humanity

    К Metal у меня плавно добавился power metal и возник образ Sonata Arctica и Stratovarius)) ну так получилось)))
    а 14 такое яркое, как новогоднее конфетти или серпантин))) и ящичек все хорошеет)))

    I love the tangle on a scratchy board - what a fantastic idea and a great effect! So glad you're enjoying other challenges - they are certainly impressive results. And that box....:-)

    Nice artwork! I too hope to do all 52 twinchies this year, might be a real challenge whilst in France but I'll give it my best shot....

    I got some of those squares too. They sure are fun. I also got bookmarkers out of the same material.I had to spray them with a clear acrylic or varnish or they will scratch off easily. Your twinchie is wonderful too. Not ready to jump into another group right now myself, but I am glad you are enjoying it.

    Great inspiration - I have found so many wonderful new ideas and challenges since I started the Diva's challenge. I really like the scratch board tangle!
