Jewel in the Crown

Just found out I got not only first place, but best in category with this, St. Edward's Crown, at the Royal Melbourne Show taking place right now. Made entirely from paper (as per comp requirements), measures around 25x25x25 cm (10x10x10"). Just rapt, jolly good, joyous weekend!!!  Here she is, her maJesty:

    Zoe, I am speechless! That is unbelievable!!! Every little detail,.........I'm just in awe over your beautiful creation!!! Wow! How long did it take you make?I can't get over how much fringe is on there!!! Not just on the crown, but the purple pillow that it is on!!!       Thanks you heaps Annette! Yep, had a royal celebration and will have more when we pick it up after the show with all the awards. We have a super duper fringer. My husband spent hours fringing and fringing. I'd say it took around 300 hours over a period of 4 months. Now working on a piece for the Royal Canberra Show.
