The Diva's Weekly Challenge #124

Sympathising, empathising.......

Every summer we go through similar disasters - the north of Australia floods and the south burns. Many of these regular massive bush fires occur just outside Melbourne, where I live. Periodically black smoke covers the city and we smell the burning.
My piece for The Diva's challenge this week is in flames.

Эта работа для The Diva's Weekly Challenge #124.

  6. I'm learning so much about the world through these challenges... I about fires and drought in Australia last year, but hadn't heard about anything this year, so thanks for sharing. Your tile is very reflective of fire, and your before and after tiles are very telling. My thoughts are with you - keep safe.

I know what you mean. Let's hope we keep not hearing anything negative about anywhere.

  7. On my blog (thanks for your kind comment!) you asked what pens I used. Well, those are Metallic Gelly pens from Sakura. The shade was done with chalk oencils.
