Weekly Homework - Inchie & Twinchie

On Every Inchie Monday, the word is Engrave. I have a square inch of a scratch art sheet, with the initials of my blog etched on it.

The Twinchies Challenge blog has Time. I have a sundial.

  1. Ooh scratch art - or as we used to call it at school, scraper board, love it. Great twinchie too.

    1. Thanks Wendy! I'm not even sure whether it qualifies as an engraving.

  5. I like the "monogram". I almost went that direction - some of my pre-sketches were my initials! I don't know what scratch art sheets are, though! I think I need to go Google that =)

    1. They are completely covered with black (not certain what that soft surface is made from). Use a toothpick, needle, whatever.... to scratch the surface. Mine have fluorescent rainbow colours underneath. I'm sure there are sheets with all sorts of colours underneath.
      Thanks Jenn!

  6. Love both of them. The sun dial holds an adorable surprise and the inchie is so cool. I love the scratch art.

  10. Hi Zoe. I wish I had thought of initials, well done you!!!! In answer to your question about stampboard. Its about 3mm thick and is coated with what I would describe as a white chalky finish. You can paint it etc then you can scratch away the paint to reveal the white again. It comes already cut to different sizes. Look at this link for more info http://www.chocolatebaroque.com/Stampbord_c_25.html

You should be able to get it where you are xxx
