The Theme is 'Fast'

EIM has Quick this week. I've always loved Hermes/Mercury, the messenger god. He had wings on his feet. I've always moved quickly. Throughout my childhood, I've lived in various countries and cities. My mother told me, the first thing I did in a new place was to learn the language and how to get around. Well of course I did - always need to know how to get away quickly. As an adult, I've also lived in various countries and cities for a while. Hate luggage, love the sound of an airplane taking off with a one-way ticket in my hand to somewhere I've never been before, love getting out of there fast :). Do you know what, patience is overrated. So what if fools rush in.....   this leads to awesome adventures!

Here are my wings:

The twinchie for the week is Cars.

  1. Hermes is perfect for quick (and your car looks pretty fast too). You sound like quite the adventurer, something I admire in others, because I certainly am not.

  7. Awesome drawing on your foot! And I love your story! I, like Kia, am not very adventurous! I'm hoping to go to the CZT next June and I'm already nervous about flying on a plane by myself! Crazy, huh? Anyway, I love the little wings too ! Very cute! Your lil' Zen car is adorable!! Have an awesome week!! :0) Share Humanity

    1. Oh, you're so lucky to live "next door" to where the CZT (I know, I'm aware of the real distances - we have those too, but I mean you're in the same country)! I wish I could do it online - I already wrote to them about this, but no go.
Anyway.... how is going to the CZT not adventurous? :) And thanks for your cute comments!
