The word is Apple on Every Inchie Monday this week. This is one of the more (if not the most) famous apples.
Also, I finally did it - I opened up my Etsy shop:
The Master's Nook.
And a bit of a show&tell. I recently finished this embroidery. It measures 50cm x 55cm (20" x 22"). I'm about to start on one so huge and difficult, it will probably take me two years.
Moo Mania & More have a great topic this fortnight - Numbers. Non-stop ideas here. Decided on this one. I suppose on just one apple a day, this could be possible.
Do you think this is in inches or centimetres?

ReplyDelete:) Thanks Valerie!
DeleteThe embroidery is beautiful, so much work! I will look at your shop. love the bikini and the apple, great take on the theme! Most famous apple indeed!
ReplyDeleteGood description - it is the most famous apple.
DeleteI have to say that I don't recall seeing the apple artwork before but the bikini is a great idea!. Not sure what size Aida you did your embroidery on but I'm thinking that there's another number moo in that too!
ReplyDeleteSally
There's a Garden of Eden story that goes with this drawing :) The Aida on this one is 14 count. The one I'm starting on is 28 count and I'm doing one over one (yikes!).
DeleteCongrats on the Esty Shop dear Zoe ! Good luck with it! What a fantastic embroidery! Gosh!
ReplyDeleteSuper liitle apple inchie and the Moo idea is genius as so often are the ideas of your Moo art!
Thanks for joining us at Moo Mania and More, Hugs,Susi
happy new week!
Wow, thank you for such amazing feed back, Susi!
DeleteSo happy for you with your Etsy shop. You have some gorgeous pieces there. You certainly have a lot of talent! Your Inchie made me think of Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and I just love that tiny bikini. Yup, you would be just as non-existent as the one shown (missing) on an apple a day LOL!
ReplyDelete:) Thanks Jean!
DeleteWonderful inchie with the best apple for sure. Love your other pieces as well and I hope your shop does well
ReplyDeleteLove Chrissie xx
Thank you muchly, Chrissie!
DeletePhantastic embrodery. I would say you needed only two years. Good luck with your shop.
ReplyDeleteAnd as every week phantastic inchie and tag.
Thank you muchly, Trillian!
DeleteGreat idea for your inchie and your measurements look so weird in centimetres to someone my age who grew up with inches and feet. I love your embroidery - is it cross stitch? I have a lot of unfinished canvases in my stash and even the ones I've finished are put away and not framed because framing is so expensive.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kia. Yep, cross stitch. yep, expensive frames. For some of the smaller ones, I frame them in embroidery hoops.
DeleteDear Zoe, your cross stitch is absolutely fabulous and your etsy offerings are so beautiful. I had to check my measurements in centimeters and I'm quite depressed over those numbers--inches are bad enough! Love the itsy bitsy teenie weenie bikini all the same and the "most famous apple," great idea! Have a brilliant day!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cheryl :)
DeleteGreat inchie and moo.
ReplyDeleteThank you heaps, Wendy!
DeleteWhat a wonderful interpretation of apple! And the moo mania,........that was a good laugh!! Very clever girl you are!!
ReplyDeleteOK,.......now,........that embroidered piece is so WOW!!! Words cannot express how impressed I am!! How long did that one take you? So in two years, we will see your finished project of new?
Sorry to use up your space on your blog. I don't know your email though.
My CZT trip was everything I hoped for and More!! I met a fantastic friend!! Of course she was from Australia!! (I don't know what it is but I just seem to hit it off you you Aussies!!!) It was like having you there!!! She is a Super person! Then I also met a friendly from the Netherlands! Really I met sooooo many wonderful people. And the class was simply WOW!!! I can't wait to put it to use. I need to first organize my thoughts and then go out there and Zen everyone up!!! I will be changing my blog and focusing that one on just Zentangle. I will keep the other one open for other interests.
I would love to hear about your Etsy sales. I have thought of that too but not sure how it works. Anyway, I will check it out ! Good luck to you!
