Energy in Everything!

Moo Mania & More are offering In the Garden as the theme this fortnight. When I lived in Helsinki, I discovered the Finnish artist Hugo Simberg. Among his awesomely different and haunting works is one called The Garden of Death. So that's what immediately came to mind. You should really check out this artist's other work.

Newsflash update! I have just visited my friend Shylaa's blog, which lead me to visit UnstampaBelles again. And I realised I can show my Moo there. Flowers are not normally my theme, but this Moo that was born on the weekend definitely fits, for the theme is a bunch of flowers with the twist of making a garden. For everyone at Unstampabelles, a Moo is 2.8cm x 7cm (1.1" x 2.8").

Every Inchie Monday has Energy, as the keyword, today. Wow, this was a tough one! Eventually I thought of spinach.

  2. I really love the inchie, what a great idea! About 100 miles from me is a city that is known for spinach farms. They even have a huge statue of Popeye! The garden picture is really interesting. I love the details and the meaning behind it, I will be checking out the links you posted

  9. Amazing Zoe - you have a strange mind! I am drawn to the garden and repulsed by it at the same time - and am interested in Moo's! Like the humour in the inchie as well. Clever stuff. I smiled as soon as I saw it. Thanks for your entry this month at Unstampabelles - still two weeks to go!

  10. Wow, missy,......You totally outdid yourself with both of these challenges!!! I can't believe you got so much detail in that Garden of Death. Just gorgeous!! And your depiction of energy is one that I wouldn't have thought of ! Incredibly creative!!

hey I have a question for ya'. Does the word Moo have a meaning to it? I have seen it all over the web and a gal that I met at Seminar had cute lil' business cards made by a company called Moo. She is from the Netherlands. I'm just curious of the whole meaning around this Moo. :0)

Thanks for the love on my blog post. I have tried submitting over 5 new tangles and have not gotten chosen yet. Hoping 'Quickzly' will. Hmmmmmmm never know!
Have a great week! :0) (((hugs)))) Annette

  11. Fascinating take on our theme Zoe at Unstampabelles. I've not come across Moo's before. Are they similar to ACTs just a different size? Thank you for sharing this with us at Unstampabelles. Wynn DT

    1. Thank you for your feedback, Wynn! I only just discovered them recently myself. Smaller than ATC's, which are 2.5" x 3.5".
