Monty Python lives

As soon as I hear Lumberjack (which is this week's theme on EIM, btw), how can I not start humming "I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK....."?
It is also our 9th wedding anniversary today - my inchie collaborator's and mine, which is supposedly ceramic, and that has nothing to do with lumberjacks.

I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK, lah, lah, lah..........


Strathmore Artist Papers ran a product catalogue cover competition for 2016. One of the things I use their smooth paper for is tangling. So I decided to enter a page of tangling, but in quilling. This page is 23cm x 30cm (9" x 12)", and is done in bronze, copper and dark gold 6mm (1/4") quilling paper (like the one in the horn of plenty in the tag below). I don't care if I won't win; at least now I've finally done what I wanted to do for ages - a whole page of zenquilling.

    I love the lumberjack and the horn of plenty, but that zenquilled page! I have never seen anything like that, how cool is that. I do hope that you win, you never know!

    love the lumberjack song! now I'm going to be singing it all week - I'm also now thinking of silly walks and fjords. You zenquilling is astoundingly beautiful - ust can't say enough about it - oh and snap - once again we did something similar with the red plaid.

    Hi! Whilst I'm not exactly glad you set that particular ear-worm off for me, I absolutely adore your quiltangle which is SO delicious I want to lick it. Sorry, that just came out. Love it! You definitely should win. You have in my book.

      Sorry - it was zenquilling, wasn't it...As well as the lumberjack song, I am suffering from tinnitus and am possibly going quietly (to everyone else's ears) mad!
