Mirror & beads for challenge

Just completed this mirror and beads for a challenge @:

Scrapbookboutique Yellow, Green & White

This theme threw me into a tropical mood.
So I made a quilled bead necklace. I pasted paper around a mirror and added a tad of quilling, spraying a coat of glossy sealer.

I used the following materials from Scrapbookboutique:

Ideal glue dispenser when you need tiny amounts

Indispensable mould for 3D quilling

Glossy glaze for the beads

Chalks for highlighting

  1. Zoe this is lovely. I had no idea what quilling was up until about a month ago and your challenge entry really shows how effective it can be. It's a wonderful use of colour and items.. I think the mirror idea is great. Good luck with the challenge too.

Thank you for the nice words. I only found out about quilling a year ago.
Good luck to all of us with the challenge. It's fun playing, isn't it.

  5. Zoe, it's very original! Beads is like a plastic, but not a paper.
And now I'm inviting you to my blog. I have surprise for you:)

    1. I know, I glazed them to bits. Please don't apologise for anything, and you don't need to translate.
I am coming over to your blog.

    2. Zoe, thanks. What is "bits" in Russian?

    3. Это значит "очень, очень, очень сильно" на жаргоне - "наглухо"
