Don't know what to call this post /

This week, I am the Diva challenge is a duotangle, where you can use only two specified tangles. This time they are: Cirquital and Opus. This evening I spotted a piece of paper with my husband's calligraphy on it. Last year we were working on a housewarming card and this is one the remaining scraps. I don't particularly hate my job, but today I had one-of-those-days. And when I saw the words "New Address", I really, really wanted to be in a different workplace....  just for a bit. Also, next month, work is moving into new premises, making it a bit closer to home and promoting increased working-from-home hours. And that's a good thing. So here's to my new address.

I am the Diva challenge

  • Sakura Pigma micron black & sepia
  • White and flesh pastel pencils
  • Graphite pencil
  • Canson mi teints brown(ish) pastel paper

I also wanted to show off again some tangled quilling I did. Each strip has been tangled on both sides and I attempted to quill some zentangle patterns.

And this is another piece with quilling/zentagle combination:

  1. WOW love your challenge piece.
quilling is beyond me, but I love to look at it-and tangling the strips, adds another dimension to the piece

  4. Really like your challenge tile. The quilling pieces look great. They seem labor intensive.

    1. Thank you so much for your comment! Absolutely, in complete opposition to zentangle, quilling is full on work. But I am in love with them both just the same.
