I wish I had musical talent. For this, one must possess a sense of Rhythm, which is this week's topic on Every Inchie Monday. This is the closest I've come to having rhythm:
Here is my tag for Tag Tuesday for the week. A component of this tag is making an appearance on Two by Two by Tuesday - the twinchie with the rings on it.
I found this fortnight's theme on Moo Mania & More - Landscape, another doosie. Eventually, I stopped on a Dali-esque type landscape - desert with door. Why? Just because.

ReplyDeleteLove Chrissie xx
Thanks Chrissie!
Deletelove the work this week. I am amazed at the amount of detail you got in your inchie! Awesome
ReplyDelete:D Nothing like a good magnifying glass. Thanks, Tina!
DeleteAll three pieces are just fab-- the inchie is so detailed - great drawing and what a lovely idea for the landscape- just because!
ReplyDeleteThank you Zoe for being with us again at Moo Mania & More!
Have a great new week!

I love your metronome!
ReplyDeleteSally
Thank you, Sally! I like them as well. My mum played the piano and I used to love listening to the metronome going.
DeleteLots of wonderful creations. Love the moo especially. Thanks for joining us at Moo Mania and More, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThank you, Valerie! I kinda like that Moo myself.
DeleteLove your inchie. But I hated the metronome when I was playing piano. I had the feeling that it took all rythem from me. I think in reality it was the oposit.
ReplyDeleteYou must have natural talent for rhythm.
DeleteAll great pieces. I particularly liked the metronome. Boy did it bring back memories of piano lessons. I wanted to throw that thing across the room tick, tick tick.... LOL!
ReplyDeleteYou took piano lessons? Still play or did the metronome do you in?
DeleteVery nice rhythm inchie! I really had to love when I read your answer about why there is a desert with door - "just because" ;-) I think I will use this answer more often! ;-)))
ReplyDelete:) Thank you, Sandra! Yes, I think "just because" is a good response. :)
Deletegreat art this week - love the Dali door, just because. The metronome is a great idea for the rhythm inchie!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kia!
DeleteDear Zoe, first, thank you so much for participating in the twobytwo! The thought behind it is so lovely. And I like how you incorporated it into another piece, just FAB! My mom always has played the piano and her metronome still sits upon it, great idea. I like the landscape; very surreal concept. Reminds me of the Namibia ghost town that is getting swallowed up by sand, Kolmanskop. Wild stuff! Have a brilliant day! c
ReplyDeleteWow, Cheryl, have you been to that Namibian ghost town?
DeleteNah, I've hardly ventured out of the States. Actually, I have plenty to do and see right here! I met a photographer here in Arizona who has been, Timm Chapman, onevisionphoto.com. Check it out! c
DeleteBrilliant ideas this week Zoe, love them all.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Wendy!
DeleteHey there friend! Thanks for your loving words on my blog! :0) And yes, very exciting news about my niece Katie!! We are all feeling so blessed to still have her with us!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear your art did not place. Please tell me it was not the one you just finished? I still can't get over how amazing that quilled piece is. Your work always makes me want to take on another big quilled project. But I have never used the technique that you have used in that one. Little bit frightened to invest so much time and it not turn out. Well, you know that I give you 'the Blue Ribbon' every time. I'm definelty a Zoe fan!!!
My husband's business might get closed down by the city and I'm losing all of my fond memories and lifestyle I had growing up around me. It's been a very difficult week and yet with my faith i know it'll be ok, but it is so difficult when going through some things in life! Anyway, sorry for dumping my news on you!
Have a great day! And hope to see you on a Diva challenge.....? (((hugs))) Annette
Oops, by the way, I love your metronome! We had that when I was a kid and it looked just like that. !! Perfecto!!
DeleteAll good with my wins, Annette. That other piece has just arrived with ribbons :) I am publishing the next post showing the non-winning one. Dump away, that's what all this is for. My life is also crumbling. And yet, in the middle of all that crap, I got beautifully clean results for my breast screen test. I cried in joy and it just made all the other B.S. look meaningless. Fingers crossed for all of us, and I already joined in on the Diva challenge with stripes. Hugs, z
